To keep this article as sweet and simple as possible - during the first test openings we did for "On Sandy Shores", we noticed that we hadn't found any copies of "Frei, Cannoneer Extraordinare". While the hope was that during packing she had simply been missed across the first couples cases, we've still yet to see her pop up. After those first couple cases we decided a back-up plan was necessary and chose to roll with her "missing" from "On Sandy Shores". Since she is a pirate, and a feisty one at that, we had a Wanted Poster commissioned for her. On the chance that she truly is missing from the set, we're printing copies of her to ship out for free to anyone and everyone who purchased boxes from the Marketplace. While it could have simply been deemed an error, and included her in a future release, it felt better to simply print her copies and get them out to everyone.
Beyond that, if the error holds true, we're also adding an additional chase for her. Below breaks down the distribution and the chase odds.
1: With 8 Mystics currently in "On Sandy Shores", that puts Mystic copies at about 1,125 each. We'll be printing 1,000 copies of "Frei, Cannoneer, Extraordinaire" to distribute and 100 of them will have her Wanted Posted printed on the card back as a bonus chase.
2: While Mystic hits vary, and it could be possible to pull her in a single box, or only pull her a couple times in a case, here's the distribution breakdown that helps keep it simple and efficient on our end. 1-6 Boxes: 1 copy of "Frei, Cannoneer Extraordinaire"
7-12 Boxes: 2 copies of "Frei, Cannoneer Extraordinaire"
This allows us to distribute an amount that will keep her population similar to other Mystics, while also adding a fun bonus chase into the entire process that didn't exist before.
3: Her missing from the set, does not effect any other pull ratios or card distribution during the box opening experience. All other averages have held true so far.
